We are seeking compassionate and energetic Direct Support Professionals to join our dedicated team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with diverse needs. This role supports clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities with their daily activities while ensuring health and safety, and promoting independence and participation in-home and community settings.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Monitor client condition and promptly report changes in health status, behavior, or safety concerns.
- Support community outings and activities to promote independence, inclusion, and social integration
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks based on dietary needs and client preferences.
- Provide medication reminders and support self-administration as permitted by the care plan and agency policy.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment through light housekeeping and sanitation tasks.
- Document services provided accurately, including progress notes and activity logs, in compliance with HIPAA and agency requirements.
- Follow all safety procedures, including CPR/First Aid protocols and incident reporting.

Qualifications/Required Documentation:
- High school or equivalent (Preferred).
- Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred).
- US work authorization. (U.S. passport or U.S. passport card. Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card (this is commonly called a Green Card.) (Preferred).
- CNA or HHA (40 Hours) Certificate (Accepted).
- Valid Driver's License & Social Security Card (Required).
- CPR/AED/First Aid Certification (Required).
- Auto registration & proof of Auto Insurance (Preferred).
- Liability Insurance (CM&F rate is $69.00/yearly) (Required).
- CEU certificates: HIV/AIDs, Zero Tolerance, HIPPA, Direct Core Competency (I will assist with this) (Required).
- Void check or equivalent (for bi-weekly direct deposit).
- Level 2 and local background check. (Preferred).
- 2 professional references. (Required).
Job Type: Full-time or Part-time.
Pay: $16 to $19 per hour.
Expected hours: 20 hours to 30 hours a week.
